Collage served as the Design Builder for the new 18,000 SF service center facility located on top of a hill overlooking lake Apopka. The building houses dozens of staff persons including scientists and permitting officials doing critical work to protect Florida’s waterways. The facility serves
as an emergency center and is equipped with a natural-gas generator.
The building received a certification by the Florida Green Building Coalition and is constructed with materials that will stand the test of time while also reflecting the environmentally conscious ethos of our client. The skin incorporates sustainable Kebony Wood and Corten Steel cladding. The landscaping is designed with all Florida native plant materials. Collage saved over $300,000 in value- engineering during the design phase of this amazing project.
