The LYNX Central Station, built to meet increased demand for LYNX service, is located in the bustling heart of Downtown Orlando and has becomes a significant part of the city’s ever-growing skyline. The $36 Million ($20 million main facility construction) facility replaced the existing downtown station and includes a 18,000sq. ft. air-conditioned seating area for riders with 2,400 sq. ft. designed for retail development. Riders have a wealth of amenities to enjoy as they wait to make their connection. The configuration of the facility’s bus bays and walkways allow passengers to safely navigate between buses and with a state-of-the-art lighting system, riders are certain to feel secure and comfortable at night.
