USGBC Florida is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 Central Florida Leadership Awards at a celebration in Orlando in late January.These prestigious awards celebrate excellence in high-performance, healthy design and building, environmental stewardship, and community impact. They also serve to highlight the green initiatives and impact of Central Florida projects, partners and members.
Award recipients were honored during a luncheon event at Orlando City Hall on Jan. 27. Attendees were welcomed by Rhiannon Jacobsen, USGBC’s managing director, U.S. market transformation and development. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer delivered opening remarks, and was recognized with the Sustainability Legend Award for his 15 years of dedication to transforming Orlando into a smart and sustainable city.
