In early October, a momentous groundbreaking event was organized to officially commence this visionary project. The event, which drew community supporters and leaders from various walks of life, showcased the vibrant spirit of Holy Cross Lutheran Academy. A highlight of the day was a heartfelt ceremony led by K-5 students, which included captivating performances and touching prayers, symbolizing the harmonious blend of education and faith at the heart of the academy’s ethos.

Gary Vargas, Director of Church and Community Development at The Collage Companies, stated, “Our collaboration with Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is a reflection of our common mission to strengthen the foundation and fabric of our community.  We look forward to this journey with Holy Cross to provide the spaces and resources for excellent education right here in Seminole County.”

“Collaboration with The Collage Companies is not just a business partnership; it’s a union of shared values and visions. Their dedication and expertise resonate with our educational mission, ensuring that our students receive not just a building, but a space where futures are forged,” said Cindy Moon, HCLA Executive Director

Central to this project’s success are collaborations with key stakeholders. Alongside The Collage Companies, figures such as Central Florida Cross Network’s Executive Pastor, Ben Hoyer; HCLA Executive Director, Mrs. Cindy Moon; and Principal Mrs. Jessica Binkley are deeply involved. Their combined commitment emphasizes the profound impact of quality Christian education. Servicing a broad spectrum of families from Seminole, Volusia, Lake, and Orange Counties, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy offers an all-encompassing Christian education from preschool through high school. The academy’s guiding principle is a trinity of love – for God, others, and the perpetual pursuit of knowledge.
