Holy Cross Lutheran Academy recently celebrated the completion of its newest state-of-the-art facility with a heartfelt dedication ceremony. The Collage Companies, Construction Manager for the project, participated in a dedication ceremony. The event marked the official unveiling of the academy’s advanced classroom spaces and pioneering STEAM Lab, a major step forward in providing cutting-edge Christian education in Seminole County. Located at 5450 Holy Cross Ct. in Sanford, the new building enhances the academy’s capacity, allowing for the enrollment of an additional 100 students. This expansion underscores the academy’s ongoing commitment to offering exceptional learning opportunities and fostering academic growth.
The ceremony featured participation from 5th grade students who led attendees through meaningful prayers and performances, reinforcing the academy’s unique mission of blending faith and education. Community supporters, families, and key local leaders were present to witness this special moment, which celebrated the academy’s dedication to its students and the broader community. Key collaborators in this project included Central Florida Cross Network’s Executive Pastor Ben Hoyer, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy’s Executive Director Cindy Moon, and Principal Jessica Binkley, who all played significant roles in bringing this vision to life. Their combined efforts highlight a shared commitment to Christian education and the future of the students in Seminole County.
“Our collaboration with Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is a testament to the power of partnerships in shaping environments that truly make a difference. The spaces we’ve helped create are not only designed to support faculty in their crucial roles but also to inspire the next generation of students. It’s about giving educators the tools and environments they need to foster growth, creativity, and academic excellence. We’re proud to be part of a project that aligns with our mission to build spaces that serve the community and support meaningful educational experiences.” said Gary Vargas, Director of Church and Community Development at The Collage Companies.
Cindy Moon, Executive Director of Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, added, “The collaboration behind this project is much more than just constructing a building. It represents our shared values and our commitment to creating an environment where our students can explore, grow, and succeed in both faith and academics.”
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy serves families from Seminole, Volusia, Lake, and Orange counties, offering a comprehensive Christian education from preschool through high school. The academy’s guiding principles of love for God, love for others, and the pursuit of knowledge continue to be at the heart of its mission.
