With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Gary Vargas currently serves as a Director of Church and Community Development at the Collage Companies. He has a broad range of expertise, from preconstruction services to project management and execution for a variety of clients. Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous project delivery methods, including design/bid/build, design/build, construction management at risk, and integrated project delivery.

As Director, Mr. Vargas is involved in business development across specific sectors, client management, team building, strategic planning, staff support, and contributing to company-wide initiatives.

Mr. Vargas holds certifications as a Construction Management Professional from the Construction Management Certification Institute (CMCI) and is a licensed Florida General Contractor (CGC). He has also published articles and papers on various project delivery methods. A graduate of the University of Florida’s Rinker School of Building Construction, he remains actively involved in organizations like the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).

Residing in Central Florida with his wife, Nancy, Mr. Vargas is the proud father of three grown children, all of whom live in Florida. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, finding great restaurants, golfing with his sons and friends, spending time with family, meeting new people, and volunteering at his local church.
