This February, Collage celebrated with longtime client, Southern Hospitality Management & Development for a very splashy grand opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the NEW Aloft Lake Buena Vista. Aloft Lake Buena Vista is a 141-room hotel located in the heart of the theme park district, providing easy access to all the popular attractions such as: Walt Disney World, Disney Springs, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld. This unique hotel offers loft-like rooms with an assortment of conveniences including modern design, complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to streaming services. Guests are invited, after a day at the parks or for some downtime, to mingle with friends and family at the WXYZ bar and to enjoy the well-equipped fitness center and pool area. A socially distanced and covid-compliant, 2-hour grand opening event included a group of local stakeholders, industry leaders, and community members. The host of the event was Nikesh Shah, President of Southern Hospitality Management & Development. Opening remarks were provided by Rich Maladecki, President of Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Associaton. Followed by Chris Farris from The Collage Companies who gave an overview of the project and then Rachid Alaoui, General Manager of Aloft Orlando Lake Buena Vista who conveyed excitement and enthusiasm about this exciting brand coming to the area.
