The Collage Companies

The Collage Companies was selected as the design builder for the new Family Life Center for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. As design builder, Collage engaged the services of a design partner(s) and the team worked together with the church to design a Family Life Center that met the clients budget and schedule constraints. Collage, and our design partner(s) took this project from conception, through design, through permitting and through construction in record time. The Family Life Center was designed and constructed to be a place for the youth in this growing church family – a place that they can call home. Designed to complement the existing complex (of which Collage designed and constructed back in 1988!), this new building provides a contemporary but rustic feel with large exposed rough sawn cedar beams mixed with split face block and bright paint colors. The building uses folding panel partitions with a high sound reduction coefficient to split large meeting rooms into smaller, more intimate sized rooms. The Family Life Center is located at the rear of the property and a major site reconstruction effort was completed. This consisted of a new roadway system within the campus as well as upgraded storm water, parking and landscaping. All of the work was completed while the site was 100% occupied by the church community.
