The Collage Companies renovated two student housing complexes at Stetson University, Conrad Hall and Stetson Cove, and completed an extensive remodel of Stetson’s Science building, Sage Hall.
Collage provided comprehensive design build services for renovation to the 44 unit Stetson Cove Apartments located off campus on Pennsylvania Avenue. Work included selective demolition and replacement of existing cabinets, equipment, and fixtures; addition of fire alarm systems, CCTV systems and GFCI receptacles in bathrooms and kitchens; wall texturing and painting of units; making reasonable accommodations for ADA compliance of four units on the first floor; and installation of two access gates and a chain link fence.
The Collage Companies was the design builder for the design, development and construction of the extensive renovation of Conrad Residence Hall. The current bathrooms were constructed in the middle 1950’s and required new plumbing, electric, ventilation, framing of walls and structures, installation of new tile on all walls, surfaces, floor drains, ceilings, fixtures, vanities, etc. The bathrooms were designed and constructed to meet ADA requirements and all applicable current codes. A well conceived plan during the renovation process to Conrad Hall Dormitory resulted in an opportunity to add new restrooms and four new dorm rooms, adding revenue for Stetson University student housing.
The Sage Hall renovation involved removal and replacement of equipment, furniture, fixtures, lighting, ceilings, walls and flooring to meet program needs for Synthetic Chemistry Research, Chemistry Collaborative Research, Computational Chemistry Computer, Behavioral Neuroscience Research, and Aquatic Biology Collaborative Research spaces. This project, which received a grant from the National Science Foundation, was completed on site and under the established government budget.
