The i4 Business magazine is one of our favorite sources for Central Florida business news and for intriguing feature stories about business and community leaders. Each year the magazine reserves the February issue to cover the exciting world of Construction and Commercial Real Estate. The Collage Companies was honored to be featured in the February 2020 edition, in a four page spread entitled, “Creating a Collage”. View here on pages 22 – 25. We know i4 Business magazine well, as they are part of the annual GrowFL award. The Collage Companies was honored as one of the 2018 Florida Companies to Watch as announced by GrowFL for developing valuable products and services, creating quality jobs, enriching communities, and broadening new industries throughout Florida.
An Exert from i4 Business magazine – Creating a Collage: Stories of world-renowned architects Frank Lloyd Wright, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Charles- Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, aren’t usually on a fourth-grader’s summer reading list. But for Brian Walsh, President and CEO of The Collage Companies, their stories were the groundwork for his own. “My passion for design and building started when I was a young boy, redesigning the floor plans in the Sunday newspaper and reading books on construction or great architects,” Walsh said. In 1982, Walsh’s homework paid off. He founded The Collage Companies, a Lake Mary Design-Build firm where he could deliver both design and construction to his clients.
