ABC Eagle Award Northland, A Church Distributed
Northland wins an Eagle Award in the category of Religious Facilities $20 – 50 million and is also nominated for Project of the Year. The 3,000 seat Sanctuary is one component of a new 160,000 sq. ft. building along with a foyer the size of a football field, prayer rooms, 25 classrooms, a bookstore, a café, a children’s playground, an outdoor gathering space for events and theatrical performances and more. Additional elements of the project include enhanced communications technologies that will allow Northland to both connect to current multi-site locations at Lyman High School, Mount Dora and West Oaks as well as locations across the globe in places such as Cairo, Egypt.
