50 MARKET LEADING BUSINESSES HONORED AT FLORIDA COMPANIES TO WATCH—
Tampa, Florida (March 11, 2019) — GrowFL is pleased to share the success of this year’s Florida Companies to WatchSM . Attended by more than 600 people and hosted by the economic development organization GrowFL, in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation, 50 Florida companies were honored in early February. These companies have demonstrated significant growth and innovation and through a rigorous evaluation process of their management team, competitive market position and strong community involvement ultimately earned them a spot as one of the 50 top Florida Companies to Watch.
“These stand-out companies are all led by entrepreneurs, and have demonstrated their capacity and intent to grow,” said Dr. Tom O’Neal, GrowFL executive director. “They also all have critical intellectual property or a niche position that gives them a competitive edge in their markets,” he said.
Eligible applicants must be privately held, second-stage commercial enterprises. Qualifying companies must also be headquartered in the state of Florida, employ between 6 and 150 employees, and earn between $750,000 and $100 million in annual revenue. A selection panel of judges representing areas of finance, technology, entrepreneurship and small business select honorees that have demonstrated past and future growth opportunities, entrepreneurial leadership, product innovation, community responsibility and competitive business practices.
